Barbara J. Pridgen Brown Nursing Student Scholarship

The Barbara J. Pridgen Brown Memorial Nursing Scholarship honors Barbara’s life of service as an LPN at Providence Hospital, Group Health, and Kaiser Permanente, where she helped welcome countless babies and cared for families with steadiness and grace. This award supports aspiring and current nursing students who share her commitment to compassionate, hands-on care and to lifting their communities. Eligible applicants are enrolled or accepted into an accredited LPN, ADN, or BSN program. Preference may be given to students from Columbus County NC.
